Dream Catcher Workshop. This 1.5 hour workshop includes an initial activity of drawing and designing our beautiful Dream Catchers. We will then spend time bringing our dream catcher designs to life with ribbon, wool, string, beads, sequins, feathers, and other embellishments! Tutorials and all materials are included for a special handmade dream catcher to take home. This class is available on either Saturday the 12th of July or Friday the 18th July. Each workshop runs from 10am to 11.30am.
Coral Reef Illustration Workshop! In this 1 hour workshop each artist will have their own piece of high quality paper to work on. We go through a guided tutorial of sketching and designing a beautiful coral reef. Students are encouraged to add reef creatures, colour, patterns and details with watercolour paints, pencils, and markers. Each artwork will be completely unique. This workshop is available on either Thursday the 10th of July or Tuesday the 15th of July. Each workshop runs from 10am to 11am.
Magical Ocean Potion Workshop! Join us at Forster Art Studio for a fun 1.5 hour workshop of creating a recipe list for our magical potion bottles. The workshop includes some science fun with coloured vinegar and bicarb soda bubbles. We will be making a mess and mixing to create fun magical potions with seashells, sequins, sparkles, colours, sand, etc. Artists will also create a beaded decorative tag to hang on their potion bottle. This workshop is available on Wednesday the 16th of July, or Saturday the 19th of July. Each workshop runs from 10am to 11.30am.
Owl and Branch Illustration Workshop! Contemporary colourful animal illustrations are always a favourite at Forster Art Studio, join us for a 1 hour step-by-step tutorial, inspiration, guidance, and lots of fun! This workshop includes a tutorial where unique and personalised details are encouraged. Our beautiful owls will be coloured with pencils and watercolour paints. Explore your personal creative style, develop new skills, and create a unique piece of art. This workshop is available on either Wednesday the 9th of July or Thursday the 17th of July. Workshops run at 10am to 11am.
Crayon Melting Workshop! This workshop runs for 1.5 hours and includes a tutorial where each artist will draw an umbrella to cover their favourite characters underneath. We will tape over our designs to protect them from messy, rainbow, crayon rain! Crayons will be hot glued to the top of our artworks and our artists will use a heat gun to melt the crayons over their artworks. When we remove the tape our designs will be finished with marker details. This workshop is available on Tuesday the 8th of July or Friday the 11th of July and runs from 10am to 11.30am.
